ThunderStorm's: American Pit Bull Terriers

We aren't a very big kennel, but we do have hearts for PitBulls! We are located in Virginia Beach, VA! Near Chesapeake and Norfolk, Virginia! We have a passion for our breed, and for all dogs alike. We do not condone any illegal activity, involving dogs and/or any other animals!

We are a simple, but responsible kennel.  We also believe that in order to preserve our wonderful APBT's we need to participate in responsible breeding practices. Our dogs are all house dogs (NO OUTSIDE ONLY DOGS HERE)! We breed our family pets that are around each other at all times. This ensures the probability of tame and loving offspring. 

Make no mistake our dogs are not weak but they are mellow! We would rather breed for temperment than any other trait! Our dogs are 100% Pit Bulls! All have nice size heads, broad stances, and are heavily bodied. Heavily bodied does not mean overweight, it means solid! Nor are they overly lean, like some out there! We believe that we have a nice variety of characteristics in our dogs. Beautiful glossy coats, good stature, and great temperments!

We also believe that not every dog should be bred! Not every owner has the time, space, or money  to deal with 10-15 puppies at a time! Puppies are not easy to take care of! They require more food, vet visits, shots, deworming, getting registration papers, and the list goes on! Some people don't realize this when they breed their dogs! Even worse is if a female gets out of your yard during a heat cycle! Then you end up with non-purebred dogs, that are even harder to place! This some times leads to people just giving the dogs to anyone who wants one, or even worse sending the pups to a shelter! Shelters almost never give APBT's a chance! PitBulls are almost always put to sleep! 

We have a small, but  effective solution to overbreeding and accidental breeding ! We offer rebates to owners, who choose to alter their puppies! Although we would like to see our lines still existing  many years from now, we don't want to overburden our shelters with our beloved dogs!
