ThunderStorm's: American Pit Bull Terriers

We here at 'ThunderStorm' believe it is our right, and our responsibility to stand up for the breed we all know and love: The AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER!  

Stafforshire Terriers were devolped in England and perfected here in The United States of America, to become our American Pit Bull Terriers! These dogs are as American as you and I. We are the most diverse country in the world, with differnt cultures, religions, and beliefs. The U.S. government can't force everyone to be catholic or jewish! So how can "our" government force us all to own a beagle or a lab!

We need to stop BSL (Breed Specific Legislation)   from spreading throughout our land! Every year we can see another city or state banning dogs. How can they ban a dog just because it was born a specific breed! That is like banning middle easterners just because they look like The Taliban! And it's not just PitBulls, it is all breeds deemed "Dangerous." Staffordshire Terriers, American Staffodshire Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Dobermans, Cane Corsos, Mastiffs and Rottweillers are just some of the breeds "Our Government" tries to label as dangerous!

Why is BSL happening?

Because when one Pitbull messes up everyone immediately blames its breed! You never hear about a golden retreiver biting a kid. Why? Because the media convienently omits the breed when its not a pit! 

We can make a stand in our every day lives.

How?

Talk to your legislature! Let him/her meet your dog!  Or even a  simple walk with your APBT can change even the harshest opinions. Show people that your dog can get along with the rest of society! ( Please don't bring a vicious dog into puplic, that only nullifies the positive image we responsible PitBull owners work dilligently for! )  

Why sit back and let the government rule our every thought and breath. Stand up for what you believe in! We believe that every dog's actions, regardless of breed,  are a direct reflection of his/her owner!

Some people consider pitbulls dangerous from the moment they are born! To avoid our dogs being unfairly sentenced to death because of fear and ignorance, we need to keep them out of shelters! And I am sure everyone out there has heard of PETA !  PETA supports BSL against pitbulls!   Breed specific legislation, usually includes the euthanasia tens of thousands of PitBulls! They also support the idea of anniahlating our beloved breed and all breeds of dogs alike. They wish that dog breeding would be made illegal! How can an organization that claims to be "Animal Friendly" hate specific breeds so much? For the same reason they got caught killing tens of thousands of fish, here locally! They also got got caught with dogs and cats being disposed of by the dumpster load. Is that being animal friendly?  I think NOT!!!!!!!! Those idiots are insane! Their logic is killed by their actions.
